Merino wool is the most effective natural form of all-weather protection while being the finest and softest. Baikal uses the right blend between merino wool for performance and polyamide for resistance. Polyamide acts as the armature of the socks and comes in greater amount to reinforce points of friction.
During workout, wool keeps your feet cooler (thermoregulation) while absorbing and evacuating excess of moisture (breathable). During and after exercise, unpleasant smell caused when sweat degrades is blocked away by merino fibers (antibacterial). Socks stay fresh much longer. Last but not least, Baikal socks need less care, are stains resistant, are machine washable and can be tumble-dried (TEC : Total Easy Care).
Merino wool is inherently natural, biodegradable, renewable and breathable. The merino wool yarn used in Baikal is also carefully selected to originate only from ethically raised sheep flocks.
